NETTIE ELIZABETH GIBSON MIZELLE Nettie Elizabeth Gibson Mizelle, 93, of Windsor, died Monday, June 21, 2004. She was born in Martin County on July 16, 1910 to the late Joel and Etta Lilley Gibson and was predeceased by her husband, Richard Worth Mizelle and was a member of West End Baptist Church and a homemaker. Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. on Friday, June 25, 2004 at Walker Funeral Home in Windsor. Burial followed in Edgewood Cemetery. She is survived by her daughter Janice M. Taylor of Williamston, NC, her daughter-in-law, Doris W. Mizelle of Colerain, NC, ten grandchildren, twenty great- grandchildren, and eight great great-grandchildren. The family received friends from 7-9 Thursday, June 24, 2004 at Walker Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Mrs Taylor in Williamston. Memorial gifts may be made to either Greens Cross Baptist Church, West End Baptist Church Building Program or the Bertie County Rescue Squad. |
