William A. Tadlock Jr. WINDSOR -- William Andrew ``Peck'' Tadlock Jr., 85, of the 300 block of Blanchards Road, died April 21, 2003 at the Brian Center in Windsor. Mr. Tadlock was born July 26, 1917 in Bertie County to the late William A. Tadlock Sr. and Pearl Tarkington Tadlock. He was predeceased by his wife, Elma Freeman Tadlock. Mr. Tadlock was a retired farmer and a member of the Cashie United Methodist Church. A Mason, he was affiliated with Charity Lodge No. 5 and was a member of the Veteran's Club. Survivors include sons, William A. Tadlock III and wife, Nancy Jordan Tadlock of Windsor; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Edgewood Cemetery by the Rev. J.H. Daniels. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Walker Funeral Home, and at other times from the residence of his son, William A. Tadlock III, 1535 Woodard Road, Windsor. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bertie County Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 74, Windsor, NC 27983 or to the Windsor Fire Dept., P.O. Box 508, Windsor, NC 27983. |
