Doyal E. "Round Clown" Allen -WARNER ROBINS - Doyal E. "Round Clown" Allen, 77, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 3P.M. Saturday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. Saturday until service time at 3:00 P.M. Rev. Phil Bryant will officiate. -Mr. Allen was born in Doerun, GA to the late James E. and Uriel (Parker) Allen and was also preceded in death by a brother, Coyal Allen. He was a member of the Sandy Valley Baptist Church and a deacon. He was a mason, a Scottish Rite and a Shriner where he was a clown with the "Jokers". Mr. Allen was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy were he fought in the Korea conflict. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a avid fisherman. -Survivors include his wife Anne Nichols Allen of Warner Robins; son Donald (Angela) Allen of Bonaire; daughter Malinda (Darrell) Robbins of Perry; step-daughter Tracy (Tom) Johnson of Thomaston; brothers, Loyal (Linda) Allen of Covington, William (Ginny) Allen of Mary Esther, FL; sisters, Shirley (Jack) Addison of Newton, GA, Barbara Allen of Albany, GA; grandchildren, Sarah Rachel Allen, Brittany Johnson, Caleb Johnson, and several nieces and nephews. -In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriner's Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607 or to Sandy Valley Baptist Church, 1124 S. Houston Lake Road, Warner Robins, GA 31088, in memory of Mr. Allen. -Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. |
