WILL R. JOHNSON CHESAPEAKE - Will Rogers Johnson, 65, of the 2400 block of Payne Road, passed away Nov 23, 2004, in Chesapeake General Hospital. A native of Windsor, NC, he was the owner and operator of W. Johnson Towing Company. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge No. 898 and Legion No. 199. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Dozier Johnson; his mother, Ola Johnson Kellough of Grandy, NC; a daughter, Cynthia Johnson Goley and husband Leon of Portsmouth; and four sisters, Esther White of Lafayette, TN, Gwendolyn C. Woodruff of Chesapeake, mary Schrecengost of Westmoreland, TN, and Eva Mae Lantham of Lafayette, TN; four stepdaughters, Sherry Garrison and Dorothy Putt, both of Chesapeake, Lind Putt of Virginia Beach and Patricia Putt of Chesapeake; and three stepsons, Hershel "Pee Wee" Smith of Gatesville, NC, Michael Jackson of Portsmouth and Timothy Putt of Virginia Beach. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dona Jean Johnson; his father, James E. Johnson; a brother, James E. Johnson Jr.; and his sister Ellen Lohr. A graveside service will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. at Riveside Memorial Park with the Rev. Tom Potter officiating. The family will receive friends at Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.
