Elizabeth Loving Hunter and Dr. David Thomas Tayloe III of Goldsboro were married June 2, 2007 at half past five o'clock at First Presbyterian Church in Goldsboro. The Reverend Andrew Ross Clark officiated. Music was provided for the ceremony by Dr. Jeremy Thompson organist, Laura Byrne harpist, Dennis de Jong, trumpeter, and Querida Thompson clarinetist. A reception was held following the ceremony at the home of the bride. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Paul Hunter, Jr. of Goldsboro. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Shadrach Loving of Fishersville, Virginia, the late Mr. Samuel Paul Hunter of New Hope, Virginia, and the late Mrs. Elizabeth Hunter Campbell of Staunton, Virginia. Parents of the groom are Dr. and Mrs. David Thomas Tayloe, Jr. of Goldsboro. He is the grandson of Dr. David Thomas Tayloe of Washington and the late Mrs. Erin Woodall Tayloe, and the late Dr. and Mrs. Arthur Gollobin of Elizabeth City. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Catherine Lawson Green of Atlanta, Georgia, was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Leslie Smith Hunter of Goldsboro, sister-in-law of the bride; Lindsay Hawfield Jones of Charlotte; Olivia Caroline Laney of Raleigh; Mary Lancaster Lehrman of Glenwood Springs, Colorado; Caroline Bowers Mitchell of Charleston, South Carolina; Rebecca Tayloe Seegars of Goldsboro, sister of the groom; and Juliet Hettinger Wells of Washington, D.C. The groom's father served as best man. The groomsmen were Michael Roger Fredette of Northampton, Massachusetts; Eric Brian Hintz of Carrboro; John Paul Hunter of Goldsboro, brother of the bride; Dr. David Blair Mahoney of Carrboro; William Brock Mitchell of Elizabeth City; and Dr. Jeffrey Ryan Smith of Saint Louis, Missouri. Eleanor Tayloe Kipp and Aaron Marshall Kipp of Durham, sister and brother-in-law of the groom, served as Scripture readers. The bride is a graduate of Wake Forest University and earned a Master of Healthcare Administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She will be a Nursing Home Administrator with Life Care Centers of America in Denver, Colorado. The groom is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine at Chapel Hill. Dr. Tayloe will be a Pediatric Resident at the Denver Children's Hospital. After a honeymoon trip to the Hawaiian island of Kauai, the couple will reside in Denver, Colorado.
