Sublett, 95, of Arlington Heights; loving husband of the Lyla (nee Grider); loved father of Jennifer (John) Oswald, Jeannette (Michael) Kollios and James Sublett (Anna); beloved grandfather of Thomas (Jill) Ferris, Bessie (James) Krupp, Nicholle (Sean) McHone, Matthew Kollios, Kyle Kempen, Kristen (Charles) Schulz, Krystle (Robert) Schrantz and Ashley (Joseph) Bechtold; cherished great-grandfather to Michael Krupp, Timothy Krupp, Natalie McHone, Charlotte McHone, Georgia Kollios, Lauren McHone, Isabella Bechtold, Jordan Bechtold and James Schulz; dear brother to Iva (the late Lee) Brown, Mae (Leroy) Knifley and Eurijah (Gerri) Sublett and the late Adrian (Ruby) Sublett, Herman (Avonell) Sublett, Faye (Paul) Bennett and Winfry Sublett; fond uncle to and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held 1 pm, Sunday, November 5, 2017 at the Edison Park United Methodist Church, 6740 North Oliphant Ave., Chicago, IL 60631. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to American Diabetes Association.
