Shared note	ROCK HILL, SC -- Mr. David Franklin Phelps, 59, of 9354 Woodstock Drive died Friday, Aug. 25, 2006, at home. A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Monday at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, with the Revs. Micky Bolus and Gerald Bennett officiating. Mr. Phelps was a son of the late Wade F. Phelps and Hattie Bird Phelps. He was of the Baptist faith and was retired as an airline mechanic from U.S. Airways. Surviving are his wife, Vickie Fowler Phelps; and his sisters, Barbara Kapps of Rural Hall, N.C., and Kathy Spry of Winston-Salem, N.C. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home and at other times at the home. Memorials may be made to Carolinas Community Hospice, 159 Sedgewood Drive, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
