Shared note	MURFREESBORO - William Jordan Lassiter Jr., 64, a native of Bertie County, died May 2, 2004, at Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Massey Funeral Home, Aulander, by the Rev. Robert May and the Rev. Steven Curry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. The family will receive friends at the home. Survivors include his wife, Mary Elizabeth Coggins Lassiter; a daughter, Liz Dunlow of Roanoke Rapids; his son, William David Lassiter of Murfreesboro; two brothers, Milton Lassiter of Hamilton and Edward B. Lassiter of Woodland; a sister, Okie Lee Bennett of Roxobel; and two grandchildren.
