THELMA M. HOGGARD Mrs. Thelma Miller Hoggard, 81, of 1006 Taylor St., Windsor, died Wednesday, June 11, 2003, at Roanoke Chowan Hospital. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Edgewood Cemetery with the Revs. Jack Byrd and Dennis J. Conner officiating. Mrs. Hoggard was born in Bertie County, the daughter of the late Norman F. and Hattie Belle Todd Miller. She was married to Johnny W. Hoggard, who preceded her in death. She was a clerk in the Western Auto Store. She was a member of Cashie Baptist Church. Survivors include four sons, Johnnie B. Hoggard and Therman R. Hoggard, both of Windsor, Herman M. Hoggard of Petersburg, Va., and Sherman L. Hoggard of Robersonville; two sisters, Virginia Johnson and Marie Hoggard, both of Windsor; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Walker Funeral Home, Windsor. |
