Eugene, Oregon - No services are planned for Jack L. Tayloe of Eugene, who died March 26, 1995 of cancer. He was 74. Tayloe was born March 22, 1921, in Walnut Grove, Mo., to Arvil and Della Adams Tayloe. He lived in Washington until he moved to Eugene in 1955. He married Ruth Olson on April 20, 1984, in Reno, Nev. Since the age of 16, Tayloe had worked as a heavy-equipment and shovel operator in the logging industry. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed growing roses. Other interests included hunting, fishing and woodworking. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Della Bishop of Colville, Wash.; seven stepchildren; two sisters, Bessie Drey of Canada and Bertie Martin of Colville, Wash.; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He requested that no services be held. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2350 Oakmont Way, Suite 201, Eugene, Ore. 97401. England's Eugene Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
