WINDSOR, N.C. Benjamin Franklin Baker, 76, of Route 3, a retired plant operator, died June 2, 1988, in an Edenton, N.C., hospital. Mr. Baker, a native of Merry Hill, N.C., had retired from Kraft Foods. He was a member of Capehart's Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Woodmen of the World. Survivors include his wife, Eva Frances Baker, a daughter, Leavon Thompson of Hopewell, Va.; two sons, H.C. Baker of Virginia Beach and Bennie C. Baker of Kinston, N.C.; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grand-children. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Capehart's Baptist Church by the Rev. Lawrence Jones. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Walker Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be sent to his church, Route 1, Merry Hill, N.C., 27957 |
