COLERAIN - Geneva Perry White, 80, of the 100 block of White Road, died March 23, 2001, at home. Born in Bertie County, Mrs. White was a homemaker and a member of Atlantic Shores Baptist Church, Virginia Beach. The widow of Dederick Lee White, she is survived by a daughter, Barbara M. Barnes of Virginia Beach; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Garrett Funeral Home, Ahoskie, by the Rev. Ross Turner. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens at 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Roger Hammond officiating. Family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Colerain Rescue Squad or the American Cancer Society. |
