C. in 1770. Josiah and Milercent moved back to Isle of Wight Co. to live in Feb. 1771. Then in August 1780, Josiah and Milercent and children returned to Northampton Co., N. C. to make their home. Children William, John, Exum and David were born in Isle of Wight Co., Virginia.

Josiah Outland, son of William and Mary Ratcliff Outland, was reared in Isle of Wight county, Virginia. He married Milercent Peele at the Rich Square Meeting House, Northampton Co., N. C. in 1770. Josiah and Milercent moved back to Isle of Wight Co. to live in Feb. 1771. Then in August 1780, Josiah and Milercent and children returned to Northampton Co., N. C. to make their home.
