Mr. Henry A. Johnson, 76, died at the Logan County Hospital in Russellville, Ky., Saturday, May 13, 1972. He had been in declining health for sometime and in the hospital for two weeks. Mr. Johnson had lived in Russellville for the past two years with his daughter, Mrs. Thomas R. (Opal) McReynolds. Born in Taylor County Jan. 20, 1898, he was the son of Nora Atchley and James Wesley Johnson, both deceased. Mr. Johnson was a retired carpenter and a member of the Bethel First Presbyterian Church. He was married to Rosa Chewning, who died in April 1951. Survivors include his daughter, Mrs. Opal (Thos. Ray) McReynolds, Cumberland Circle, Russellville; one grandchild, Eddie Pike, Russellville; and two great-grandchildren. Also one brother, Fess C. Johnson, Campbellsville; two sisters, Mrs. A. V. Carter, Louisville, and Miss Alma Johnson, Rt. 5, City. Two sisters, Annie Farris and Carrie Dudgeon, precede him in death. Funeral services were conducted at the Lyon Funeral Home Chapel Sunday, May 14, at 3:00 p.m., by Rev. Fred Reed with burial in Griffin Cemetery. Pallbearers were Paul Johnson, Elijah Johnson, G. T.
