CLAINE PIERCE PIERCE Clarine Pierce Pierce, 80, died July 3, 2004. She was born in Bertie County on January 12, 1924 to the late Claude Franklin and Nellie Pierce. She was predeceased by her husband, Woodrow Carson Pierce, Sr. and son, Woodrow Carson Pierce Jr. Mrs Pierce was a member of the Windsor Assembly of God and a homemaker. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 6, 2004 at Windsor Assembly of God by the Rev. Chuck Gray. Burial followed in Edgewood Cemetery. She is survived by her daughters Barbara Castelloe of Columbia, SC and Peggy Lawrence of Williamston, NC and her sons Billy Pierce of Windsor and John Paul Pierce of Edenton, NC. The family received friends from 7-9 p.m. Monday, July 5, 2004 at Walker Funeral Home. Memorial gifts made be made to the Bertie County Rescue Squad or the Diabetes Foundation. |
