Nellie Elizabeth Pierce, 83, of Route 2, died July 11, 1990, in an Edenton hospital. Mrs. Pierce, a native of Bertie County, was the widow of Claude Franklin Pierce. She was a member of Windsor Assembly of God. Survivors include five daughters, Clarene Pierce, Lucille Pierce, Lessie Davis and Geraldine Jernigan, all of Windsor, and Ruth Pierce of Newport News; 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday in Windsor Assembly of God by the Rev. Chuck Gray, the Rev. Glenn Lawrence and the Rev. Raymond Hoggard Jr. Burial will be in Edgewood Cemetery. Friends may join the family from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Walker Funeral Home, Windsor. |
