Shared note	Herbert Lee Reagan, age 92, of Camp Creek Road, Whittier, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2003 at Tsali Care Center after a period of declining health. Mr. Reagan was a native of Swain County but he had lived most of his life in Jackson County. He was a devoted member of the Whittier United Methodist Church, and was the oldest member. He was the owner of Reagans 5 & 10-cent Store in Bryson City from 1951- 1973. Mr. Reagan was the son of the late Jehu and Asalee Reagan. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Preceding him in death is his wife of 60 years, Ida Battle Reagan; one brother, Haynes Reagan; two sisters, Eula Beck and Janie Jiles.
