MANTEO, N.C. - Stanley Hartwell Lassiter, 64, a retired state trooper, died March 11, 1987, in a hospital. Mr. Lassiter, a Bertie County native, retired fromm the North Carolina Highway Patrol after 27 years. He was a member of the board of directors of the Dare County Farm Bureau and a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a deacon of Manteo Baptist Church. |
