Shared note

His will dated 9 November 1818 (codicil added 27 January 1823) and was proved in November 1823. The will was recorded in Grandville County Will Book 9, page 247. The executors named in the will were Benjamin Hester (probably brother of Mary Hester Currin) and larkin Currin a son. The witness to he will were Benjamin Hester and Alfred Hester, nephew of Mary Hester Currin. Hugh Currin named his sons in his will, but he did not name his daughters. The names of the daughters was obtained from Granville County documents found in NC archives in Raleigh, relating to the settlement of the estate of Benjamin Hester, brother of Mary (Hester) Currin.
