Frederick Charles Tayloe age 77, son of Henry Tayloe and Mrs. Pathenia Rebecca Tayloe. He was a native of Bertie County, NC and a resident of Norfolk most of his life, died Monday, September 5, 1955 in a Norfolk hospital. Besides his wife, he is survived by 3 daughters, Mrs. Minnie Foreman of Miami, Florida, Mrs. Laura Griffen of Norfolk and Mrs. Otis Dyke of Washington, DC; 6 sons, Eugene Tayloe and Walter E. Tayloe, both of Norfolk, Jesse Tayloe of Baltimore, Maryland, Paul Tayloe of California, Raymond Tayloe and Leroy Tayloe, both of Lynchburg; 2 sisters, Mrs. Hattie Powers and Mrs. Nettie Bright, both of Norfolk. The body was removed to the Derry-Twiford Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at the Derry-Twiford Funeral Home Thursday, September 8, 1955 at 12:00 pm by the Rev P. Rowland Wagner, pastor of the Central Baptist Church. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. |
