Castello of Colerain on April 26, 1943 in Baltimore, Md. He served in the U.S. Army and was a World War II veteran. He was a member of the Colerain Baptist Church and the Colerain Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Helen C. Perry; four children, Cindy Zimmerman of Fayetteville, Ark., Alvah Perry of Homestead, Fla., Steve Perry of Ahoskie and H. Randolph Perry of Laurel, Md.; two brothers, Wallace Perry of Wakelon and John E. Perry of Ahoskie; five sisters, Elsie Williams and Ester Perry, both of Wakelon, Joyce Perry of Ahoskie, Carolyn Lassiter of Manteo and Martha Baker of Texas; two grandchildren, Stephanie and Megan Perry, both of Ahoskie.
