Harry Pierce, 70, of the 600 block of South Catherine Creek Road, a retired self-employed television technician, died March 12, 1994, in his residence. Mr. Pierce was born in Bertie County, N.C. He was a member of Ahoskie Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Girlen W. Pierce; two sons, Gregory W. Pierce of Apex, N.C., and Harry T. Pierce of Harrellsville, N.C.; a sister, Helen Pierce Marshall of Ahoskie; two grandchildren, Jessica and Jason Pierce, both of Harrellsville; and one niece, Lorraine Davis of Virginia Beach. The funeral will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in Ahoskie Free Will Baptist Church by the Rev. Wade Parker. Burial will be in Ahoskie Cemetery. Garrett Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is handling arrangements. |
